Just some information I would like to share from Apple sources, do not take this as gospel, but it is reliable.

1) The iMac replacement is a significant advance on previous designs. It will be G4 based, it will not be called iMac, but will aim for the same market. It will be flat-screen, with hints to a major new design (portability?). I believe this machine is Apple's big announcement, and have some surprising abilities we haven't seen in a personal PC before (sorry for my vagueness on this, people are very tight-lipped, I know more about the processor used than what it can do).

2) iBook is going to be upgraded. SpyMac is correct with its information regarding the colour iBook, and combo-drive. The updated iBook this year will be G3 1GHz, this is the last G3 processor being used by Apple
iBook will be going G4 in 2003 with another new design.

3) G5 is arriving late this year. Will debut in a new design of PowerMac. It will appear in a new PowerBook in 2003.

4) Even I originally assumed the iWalk was a fake, this may not be the case. The SpyMac video is quite likely a real prototype for an upcoming consumer PDA/palm computer (much more powerful than anything on the market currently). This is NOT Apple's big MWSF announcment, and is not being released for some time yet.

5) iCam is happening. Sony are helping with development. High capacity digital camera (non-removable media - internal HD). I was told Bluetooth was going to be used, however AirPort appears more likely. Aimed for design/home digital market, not traditional photo-processing like many other camera brands.

Interesting times ahead. MWSF will be very exciting.
