Apparently TMOBILE isnt seeing the credits on their side and Apple says the investigation will officially close in 48 business hours so this week it should officially close and I can see everything then. If it doesnt, I will have to call back in.

TMobile sees $610 from apple. $510 from the trade in and $100 as a downpayment I made on the device. Where the bill credits are is confusing me and I dont know if their system hasn't updated to reflect it as its still new or what.

This has been a nightmare.

Sorry to hear that. I hope it all works out fine eventually.

Honestly, this is why I'd rather pay in full if I can't do an in-store trade-in. Way too risky.

This is a disaster! I am planning to do the trade-in at an Apple store, this is safer.

For the same reason I prefer to buy things in store as well, I just do not trust courier companies.

If I had the spare money at the time I would have just purchased the Air flat-out and sold my 15PM at a later date. Unfortunately the closest Apple Store near me is 3-4 hours away.

Still nothing on bill credits and both Apple and TMobile are acting like it's not their problem. Clearly its someones as this is not my fault.

I know all the after-the-fact stuff can be unhelpful at times, but my experience with trade-ins is: video of me packing the box; picture of the box on the scale at UPS/FedEx/whatev, even if they don't want to or need to weigh it; and then picture of the receipt in case my dumba$$ loses it.

If this is how they treat people who get their package stolen AFTER dropping it off - yeah, I'll NEVER use the mail in trade in. Obviously, I'm privileged enough to have 3 apple stores within a 15 min radius of me, so there is an impact there.

But good grief.

Is there a T-Mobile store near you? That's the route I would take if Apple Store is not an option.

I've done trade-ins at AT&T and Verizon corporate stores and had no issues getting bill credits.
