Update Apple ID Settings popup

So today on my phone I got this message to Update Apple ID Settings.
Now I'm looking at a notification on a laptop:

Update Apple ID Settings
Some account services require you to sign in again.

(When I press OK, I'm sent to the iCloud Sys Pref)

Enter you password... it happens sometimes... requiring you to log in again.

I get this all the time. Rebooted iPhone, restored phone, signed out of iCloud on all devices, changed iCloud password, reset to factory settings, reset network settings, I've done it all yet, whenever I plug my phone in, it appears again. Weeks of support calls with Apple. All they do is say "let's try this...." nothing fixes it.. :-(

Did you ever manage to fix the issue? I have having the same issue, but my error keeps asking me to type in the password for an old Apple ID I no longer use and have removed from my Apple account in general.
