Update from Magpul on iPhone 7 cases

Just got this update from Magpul:

Thank you for contacting us. At this time, we are producing a case for the iPhone 7 but an ETA has not been given. It could still be a month or two as we just started the process when we received the phone about a week and a half ago.

They are always way behind. This is nothing new. I've had the last few generations of the Magpul Field case and really dig it.
 
Hopefully it's not much longer. Had one on my 6s and loved it. Now I want one for my 7 plus lol
 
Pumped! Always loved the Magpul case for the iPhone, Def have to keep an eye on this thread and order as soon as they become available.

In the past, Magpul released the new field cases about 3 months after the new iPhone release. This release is definitely taking quite a bit longer. Hang in the there, it should be any day fellas.
 
This is great news for me. I had gotten the impression that Magpul was exiting the phone case market and I was disappointed big time. I have bought a number of cases for my 5s and the Magpul Bump case is my favorite by far!
 
Placeholder for the iPhone 7 and 7+ cases up on their site now, says "coming soon".

Oh ok, I saw that. It's just that it looks identical to the one I posted that is currently on sale on Amazon. Someone said they are modified and I see that but it looks like they are modified by the manufacturer to meet the specs of the 7. The only difference is the size of the camera opening? I'm tempted but may wait for the newest official case if it's really that different.

EDIT: It shows modified by EGO . CNC milled for precision......whatever that means. I've never had one of these cases so I'm not sure if that makes it any less or worse or not as secure.
 
I spoke to someone at Magpul yesterday and they said end of February. This is definitely later than previous launches.

Mine is due to be delivered on Tuesday as well. I got ODG for my matte black iPhone 7. ODG is an army greenish color which I love!

Nice! I debated the ODG. Hmm... Maybe a second case is in order... Can you post some pics after you get yours?

Sure! I had ODG for my space gray iPhone 6. It was a nice combo. It'll probably be a slightly different look with the matte black iPhone.
