Update iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011) to 10.12

Hi,

I need to update to 10.12 on my iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011). I'm currently on 10.11.6 (15G22010)

I have downloaded 10.12.1 and it says 'This update requires macOS version 10.12.'

I can't find 10.12 to download.

Any help would be much appreciated...

The file you downloaded (10.12.1) was an update, not the actual full installable OS.
