Those instructions won't work on an A5 or newer device. Apple is no longer signing the iOS SHSH blobs, resulting in a complete inability to ever restore an iPad to iOS 6.

OH well. I guess it helped I downgraded back to iOS6 about 48 hours after iOS7 came out. 😀
