Hello all!

I have an iPhone (8GB, First Gen) on Software 2.0. I was wondering if it would be possible for me to update to the latest software using iTunes on a Windows PC, when I originally used it on a Mac, without losing any of my settings, text messages, notes, music, etc... I had to sell my Mac to get some extra cash to be able to afford my move to Texas a few weeks ago, so I've fallen back to a Windows PC that I've kept (1.8GHz P4, XP SP3, whatever...). Would it be possible to do this, or will syncing it to a new computer screw things up? I'd really be screwed if it lost some of these things.

Thanks :)

I just did it on my windows laptop when 2.0.1 was released and everything worked perfect.
Just plug it in and click on "check for updates". Don't try to do manual sync or any of that other stuff because that is how you will lose everything on your phone.
