I have an iPhone 5S on 7.1.1, jailbroken. The only tweaks that I've ever used from Cydia are ad blockers: for YouTube and Safari.

Would it be possible if I uninstall those two tweaks to update without restoring my iPhone?

I can't do an OTA update since that option was disabled by the jailbreak, but I would happily update it from iTunes.

Does it go in a recovery loop or would it work? I am perfectly aware that I am losing my jailbreak, I was just wondering if it is possible.

You need to put your iPhone in DFU mode and then connect it to your computer and open iTunes. Then let it update and restore.
