Update not installing..

Hi,

When the "Macbook Pro EFI Firmware Update Version 1.9" first came out I installed it via Software Updates. The problem is that is never seems to install at all. I've installed it numerous of times yet it still displays it as an update in updates.

Anyone having this issue?

What specific MacBook Pro do you have?

Macbook Pro 2010 15 i7, sorry I should have mentioned that also.

installing from software update just downloads it to your Utilities folder, you'll need to run it from there to install it.

EDIT: The above sounds right.


What about using the Ignore option in Software Update?

Or downloading it manually form Apple's Download section and installing it yourself?
