Update OSX 10.9.1 for nMP 6.1 EXCLUSIVE!!!

    I think he i saying there is a different 10.9.1 build number for the new Mac Pro. I have not seen any info on that either way though.

    Never seen a late OS X update for one product specific.

    It is probably because of the dual GPU in Mac Pro. Probably, the system is updated specifically for that machine to take advantage of the GPUs.

    It happened a bunch of times before, most recently with OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 Update for MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Usually these "single-machine" versions of minor updates are incorporated into next minor update (so the future 10.9.2 update will not be machine-specific unless something new comes up).

    Its happened before, I believe the rMBP had a specific update and going back even further the G4 Cube I believe had a specific patch.
