update question

I'm updating my iMac from Snow Leopard to Lion (Lion is downloading now).

Do I need to do anything special with back up and restoring? I'm backing up everything via Time Machine to an external harddrive just in case. But I assume that my computer will backup and restore by itself through the update (like how the iPod/iPad/iPhone works when updating the OS.

Just making sure.

I'm about to update and don't want to loose everything and need to go through a time machine restore process...

nothing to really worry about. i did a backup to be safe but it all went without a hitch. literally you'll only notice minor changes after lion installs.
