Update straight from iOS 10 to 12?

Hi,

Sorry for being lazy and asking here, I'm sure it's been asked before but I couldn't find a straight answer:

I'm on iOS 10 (iPhone 7 Plus) - can I set my update when I go to bed and it updates straight to iOS 12? Or will it have to update to iOS 11 and then I have to accept something to continue to iOS 12?

It should go straight to 12, as that is the most recent version.

It will update straight to iOS 12. I did that for my wife’s iPhone 5S which was still on 10.

Yes, as long as your device supports iOS 11 ( which is does being iP7+) it will support iOS 12, meaning you can update straight from iOS 10 to iOS 12 with no issues.
