Hi, I was wondering if its possible to update to 4.1 beta without baseband update?

the reason for this is that i have one iPhone 3GS (old boot rom) which is running on 4.0.2 but there is no SHSH blobs stored to Cydia. So i cannot downgrade/jailbreak it. And the Pwnagetool custom firmware didnt help me either.

If i could mange how to upgrade to 4.1 without baseband update with sn0wbreeze 1.8 beta I could jailbreak and unlock the phone correct?

Cheers

I know Pwnage Tool doesn't work with 4.1
As far as Sn0wbreeze, no comment.

Only a 3G can be partially JB on 4.1 (many items not functional) No 3GS or iPhone 4 JB on 4.1 firmware.
Shouldn't be too hard to wait until there is a working jailbreak for it.
