Updated AppleTV 2 to 4.2 will not boot

I've tried everything, connecting it to my Mac Pro, holding down "Menu -" then "Menu Play", the front light flashes rapidly but iTunes 10 will not detect it in recovery/DFU mode (I have done it before and iTunes was able to detect and restore it).

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. I'm very computer proficient, having worked at Apple as a Genius at one point, but this baffles me.

I had to take mine back to Apple, they replaced it no questions asked.
