Any word or when Bootcamp Drivers will be updated for Windows 8?

BootCamp 5 with Windows 8 support was released like a month ago.
Don't expect further updates any time soon. Maybe with the next branch of OS X.

Apple releases OS X 10.8.3 update, now supports Windows 8 Boot Camp installation
