Updated List of Compatible JB Programs on OS 4.0

MyWi Works great!

Tested it on my iphone4 tethered to my ipad. Make sure you download the mywi 4.0 for you iphone 4 users.
 
iFile opens, and goes to a black screen after about 5 seconds.

The black screen reacts to the accelerometer though... The status bar still turns.

How to fix?

Nope. I've gone through 3 iPhones now and in the shuffle some of those apps are gone (and I can't re-download them from the AppStore).

True they're no longer available but unlike Google these apps can still work. If you synced the apps to your itunes at any point they will sync fine back to your device. Unless you deleted them or never synced them to your applications library then there's no way to get it back through the app store.
 
winterboard works kind of, not getting icons or user wallpapers to load, everything else is though

ps: Im on a 3rd gen touch, not an iphone

And it's the latter. Between 3 phones and two laptops, some were lost in the move. Now Apple won't let me have those so I will find other ways to get them back on to my device. Do I care? No.
 
I had both Ifile & 3g unrestrictor installed. Ifile worked fine. I Didnt have a chance to go thru 3g unrestrictor before i restored to fix MMS, Facetime. But it installed. Both on Iphone4 4.0.1
 
Anyone having problems with Words With Friends? I installed the installous version and it just gets stuck at Updating... this may take a few minutes. Nothing ever happens...
 
5 icon....

5 icon dock works fine
SBSettings works alright

however, 5 column totally F'd my phone. It did not work and put me in safe mode that i could not get out of basically. I had to do a full restore.


beware of the 5 column tweak

anyone else have this problem??

I tried 5 column and all my folders disappeared.
I immediately uninstalled it and everything reverted back.
 
I installed Winterboard but only one theme along with it. However, it did seem to work just like it did when I had my 3G JB.

I have a 3GS and cannot get MyWi to install. It either says host is unreachable or something about the copy size is wrong. I tried both the 4.0 and the old MyWi. Any ideas anyone? This is the only reason I jailbreak!
 
3g Unrestrictor works. I tried to FaceTime with it; doesn't work lol. Not exactly sure why; I'll keep looking into it; for now the latest version works.

For MyWi does it still still go through Rock Extensions ?
 
yes it works... new added features from 3.0 as well..everyone gets a 10 day trial

this is what I am most hopeful for.. I would love facetime to work anywhere
