Hi,

How do I get CYDIA for 10.3.2 which was updated OTA.

Essentially i need to control my iphone via the PC so any cydia apps for that will also be reccomended.

Thanks In Advance

Were you jailbroken before?

If you were, why did you update?

Cydia is only available for jailbroken devices.

There is no jailbreak for 10.3.2.

I wasn't jail broken before.

Can I downgrade to a previous version and then jailbreak ?

Nope. I wish it were that easy, but it's not.

Apple digitally signs the firmware they release. When they remove signing from a firmware you can no longer downgrade or upgrade to it. When Apple releases a new firmware they typically sign the older version for a little while, but eventually they stop signing it and at that point the only version you can go to is the current one.

This is how Apple prevents jailbreaking.

If Apple is still signing 10.3.1 you should downgrade to that version. No jailbreak out for it as of now, but there is still some hope Pangu will release it in the future.

There should be a sticky about the current status of jailbreak. Since every new thread just asks the same thing over and over.

No jailbreak for iOS 10.2.1 or higher

No you cannot downgrade to anything other than 10.3.1 period.

I'm of the idea that we'd be what you'd call the 'second opinion'. Most of the questions are from newbies. I'd bet they asked the same question elsewhere (maybe not OP of this thread) and were told no jailbreak or ran into one too many fake jailbreaks before they thought to post/ask.

My issue isn't so much the asking, but the assumption that they can jailbreak just because they got the idea to do so.

At least those asking understand they need to be on certain firmwares.

For whatever that's worth…
