Updated to 10.9.2 and wifi connect takes forever

I updated to 10.9.2 this morning and now when I open up my MacbookPro it takes anywhere from 30-60 seconds for it to connect to my wifi network. Before the update it would only take 3-5 seconds. Anybody else experiencing this? Is there any way to fix it?

Seems I'm not the only one. Here is a thread with many others experiencing the same thing.
