Updated to El Capitan and all my mail is gone!

Hopefully Time Machine has it all saved. Has anyone else had this issue?

Double-check your account settings. Then try "Mailbox" -> "Rebuild"

Thanks! I restored from Time Machine and then did what you suggested. I have it all back now. Whew!

Mine has deleted all my BT email boxes , luckily I have an old mac pro that has them all still.

overall NOT impressed at all

Mine did the same thing, I updated 2 hours ago, all my e-mail on the e-mail app is gone. I tried Mailbox ---> Rebuild, but that just vanished the new email I got. lol
