Updated my 2015 12" MacBook to Safari 12 this morning. Machine is fully updated on High Sierra. The back/forward gestures are no longer working. It begins the animation but I can't actually get it to work.

Anyone else seeing this?

Hmm. Restarted Safari, changed the gestures around in System Preferences a bit and then back to normal and now seems to be working...

Anytime things get acting strange, the first thing I do is a restart. That usually fixes things.

Hating the Safari 12 - keeps saying that any page is using too much memory, and the ad block is useless. Restart did not help.

How can I go back without losing settings?

Safari 12 works just fine for me on 4 different Macs.
