Hey everybody. There's already a few of these but they're pretty outdated.

Wondering what weather app you use. I'm looking for something that is either free (sans ads) or pay once. I used Wunderground for a long time but they've moved to a subscription model so I'm looking around before renewing.

What happened with Weather Underground? I still have and use the app--was something changed about its functionality or is it mainly just ads?

Dark Sky.

I purchased it and requested a refund almost immediately. Can't explain definitively why I didn't like it.

Nothing. My subscription expired and I thought I'd check around for something that was a pay once type deal but after browsing for a while I realized WU is the best there is. I renewed this morning.

BeWeather looks nice but there's a lot of terrible reviews citing wildly inaccurate temps and inconsistent refreshes. Maybe it'll be better once it's updated for iOS 10.
It's powered by WeatherUnderground, which is considered to be fairly good as far as data and forecasts go, so hard to say why there would be bad information (short of people selecting various personal weather stations that might not be properly configure or might be having some issues).

For general-purpose stuff, I use WeatherRadio.

For more in depth mobile radar access, Radarscope.

But at home, I'm running GR2Analyst

I've been using it on OS and iOS for over a year and never had any issues with it. Didn't even know it had previous issues.

Your AW doesn't look like this, broken?

***EDIT***

Sorry, just clued in... don't think you use Apple Watch. My bad!
