Updates for Logic Express, Aperture, and Final Cut Express

How often are Logic Express, Aperture and Final Cut Express updated?
Aperture is now on "2", how long ago did it upgrade from 1? Also, how long was 1 out for?
Final Cut Express is now on 4, how long was the normal update time-frame for FCE from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4?
The same questions go for Logic express...

My questions are asked because I am trying to figure out if the maintenance programs are worth it on these programs for a purchase of 10 computers. The program allows all programs to be updated every time they receive an update for a flat rate of $59.

Finally does Final Cut Express have a maintenance program?
