I don't want iOS 10, too many things I don't want and I don't want to risk ending up with a slower device.

I was wondering a few things:

Will there ever be a way to get the iOS 10 version of apps like Apple Music, News and Maps on iOS 9?

Will there be a way to get the new Home app on iOS 9?

Will there be a way to remove stock apps from iOS 9?

I'm guessing no will be the answer, but I thought it was worth asking.

There is no way. So far it seems that iOS 10 shouldn't be any worse, if not better, compared to iOS 9.

why would you have a slower device? and, in the new OS, you can delete apps you don't want... you're asking for ios 10 features in ios9; which suggests: an update to ios 10.

I agree that usually an iOS upgrade usually shows down a device, but with iOS 10 on my iPad mini 4, iPhone 5S, 6, and 6S, I'm happy to report that so far I've not experienced any slow downs over iOS 9 - in fact it's faster in some regards.

My iPhone seems much quicker on iOS 10 betas then it ever did on iOS 9. I have a 6S so obviously YMMV, but still. Most people seem to say similar things in that the betas of iOS 10 are showing a faster iOS.
