Updating from 10.4 to 10.5

Hi All,

I have just been given a iMac Late 2006 17". I cannot for the life of me find a way to upgrade to 10.5 from 10.4.

Can you please please point me in the correct direction ?

You need a Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Retail DVD like this.

You might be best served by buying a Snow Leopard (10.6) OS X disk, which you can still get from Apple.

Yes. And it only costs 19 USD from the Apple Online Store.

As the previous poster mentioned, going to 10.6 is the better move...
