Hi,

I'm looking to update my iPhone 5 from IOS 8 to 9.3, just to be able to jailbreak it again and keep all the functionalities I have in my jailbroken iPhone.

I've tried to do that but iTunes won't let me install the 9.3 ipsw since that IOS version is no longer signed by Apple.

I've searched around for an alternative but seems that Blobs are no longer working and I can't find a way to upgrade to that version of IOS.

Can anyone help and give me some instructions on how I can upgrade?

Thank you all,
Alex

You can't.
@Mr_Brightside_@ is correct.

Furthermore, 9.1 is the last available jailbreak for 32-bit devices. Your iPhone 5 is a 32-bit device.

So. Even if you COULD (which you can't) it would be all for nothing because you couldn't jailbreak your device on 9.3.

Blobs stopped working around iOS 6. They were killed entirely when Apple went to APTicket with iOS 7.

There's been some recent rebirth of blobs, but I'm not sure what's involved with that.

Thank you so much for your replies.

I've spent quite some time yesterday searching the web for an answer to this. I should have post this question on this forum in the first place.

Kind regards,
Alex

Not necessarily, there is a 32 bit jailbreak for ios 9.2-9.3.4. It is called the "home depot" jailbreak. This is personally the jailbreak I use on my device.

This does actually work too. Has somewhat resurrected my old iPad mini 1 on 9.3.2 with Tatton tweak installed.
