I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I quick search didn't show anything up.


I just installed Aquafox and as part of the process, I installed ublock, Noscript, but I'd forgotten how to update the HOSTS file and the link on this page, leading to what I assume is the guide, appears to be broken.

Since OS X and windows use essentially the same format for the file, you can just plop the entries directly into your host file. On OS X the hosts file is located at /etc/hosts
 
P.S. Can definitely vouch for the MVP Hosts file you want to use, which I've used for a long time, and seeing the notice at the top of his page, hope that the guy maintaining it is doing better and out of hospital.

Yes, sounds like the poor chap is going through the wars. Hope he's ok, doesn't sound good.
