Any will do, but to restore from your last backup, you will need to use the computer it is synced to.
the problem that I have is the original and only sync was with a computer that crashed and burned. I need to update and back up without losing anything!!!!!
There are programs that can move music from the iPod to the computer. google "ipod to computer". Senutil is one
