Updating jailbroken iphone to itunes 7.6?

Has anyone with a jailbroken phone updated itunes to 7.6? any issues?

i upgraded mine the other night, and had no trouble syncing the past two days. i'm running a jailbroken and unlocked 1.1.2 (upgraded) - (1.1.1 otb)

Yes, thanks for the info! I am going to upgrade to 7.6 right now. Hopefully a new and improved, bigandtasty update to itunes 😀

iTunes 7.6 and hacked iPhone follow up question...

So just to be sure...

I have a 1.1.1 hacked iPhone which is working now with my non ATT local provider.

I bought some $1.99 baseball games off iTunes, and was prompted to upgrade to iTunes 7.6. So i did.

Now, if I plug my iPhone into my Mac, I should be prompted to upgrade the iPhone, to which I simply decline and that's it.

This will then result in my iPhone syncing with iTunes as per normal without my iPhone being bricked????

I had problems jailbreaking a 1.1.2 iphone using iTunes 7.5 so updated to 7.6 and it jailbroke no problem and works fine. I was asked if I wanted to update my phone but I declined and ticked the box saying don't ask me again.

To confirm.... I'm on 1.1.2 with baseband/modem firmware 4.02.13. I have AT&T. Running iTunes 7.4.

Can I simply update itunes at this point to 7.6?

Also, my husband's phone is 1.1.1. Can he do the same without issue?

cant say about 1.1.1 but yours should be fine as that is what I did...
