I am using microsoft office 2008 on my Macbook Pro but when I try to install the latest upgrades for it, the installer reports "A version of the software required to install this update was not found on this volume."

I am using Snow Leopard and I do have a copy of Office 2004 on the computer as well.

Does anyone have a clue about what is going on?
