iPod touch updating not working to iOS 4

downloaded the iOS4 (10 mins... wow no server crash?) and i clicked update...

stuck on backing up ipod, it doesnt move past 2mm 🙁


it is jailbroken but i wont need that anymore with iOS 4.
If i restore then try it again it might work but i cant remember if i will lose my saves...

By "saves" do you mean your apps and such?
