Is there a way to update Numbers 2.0 to 2.3? I have some documents that I prefer to work with in version 2.x because they look much better in that version, better contrast, colors etc. I've had both version 2.x and 6.x installed on my old Mac Pro. Now that I have a new Mac mini, I have installed 2.0 from the iWork .dmg. But since I have version 10.x installed as well, there seems to be no way I can upgrade 2.0 to 2.3. Any ideas?

Do you have the install media for iWork 2.3? If so, you might want to try uninstalling all of the components of the newer version (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), install the 2.3 update, and then reinstall the latest.

If you don't have 2.3, you can buy it on eBay. Still-shrinkwrapped copies of iWork 2.3 sell on eBay for $10.

I only have the 2.0 version. Maybe I'll try to get the last 2.3 version installer media then. How would I know if an iWork '09 package contains Numbers 2.0 or 2.3?

I had the same issue and was able to do this by going to this URL:

Then I found the link to "Download iWork 9.3". This link was:

Or you can try:

The iWork 9.3 update updated by Numbers to 2.3.

I realize this is a year late to help you, perhaps, but I figured I'd document it here for anyone else who may be looking.
