Hi, I have an old Mac Mini (early 2006). The RAM and processor is outdated (512MB RAM and Intel Core Solo 1.5ghz) and I want to update them. (Can't play 2 tracks in Garageband w/o too many instruments message and can't play 1080p youtube videos). According to Apples support page, it says the most RAM my computer can handle is 2 GB. Also it says this: "For best performance, use two SO-DIMMs (one in each slot) of the same DIMM size (example: two 512 MB SO-DIMMs)." Does that mean I should get two 2GB SO-DIMMs or get two 1GB SO-DIMMs? Would an Apple store install these? http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4432#3 For upgrading the processor, I couldn't find anything about it. Theoretically, could I buy this and have an Apple store install it? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Intel-Core-Duo-Processor-T2600-2-16-GHz-2M-667-SL8VN-/140628153183#ht_2024wt_1189 Thank you.
