iPad Updating to ipadOS 13 error

Were you able to update your iPad to ipadOS 13 via iTunes?

I have the Xcode beta which updated my iPhone to iOS 13 just fine, yet it doesn’t work for my iPad. I get an unknown error...

You don’t need Xcode you just need the mobiledevice.pkg

Well, I installed that and it still doesn’t work without the macOS beta.

You don’t need the Mac OS beta to clean install. I installed 13.0 on a high Sierra Mac

Is it possible to clean install 13 and then restore from the latest backup?

**EDIT** Doesn’t matter... that doesn’t work either. Maybe someone else will have a clear solution other than XCode.

Uh... how do you guys sync to iPad? It’s not showing up in Finder for me and I’m on macOS Catalina

I did the iPadOS update with a Mojave mac with no problems after installing Xcode beta. Before the Xcode install it wouldn't go.
