i have the original iphone and i installed the leaked 2.0 software from yesterday. If i update it to the correct 2.0 software released today will save data from my apps be deleted.

I am wondering this because i am 70 levels into monkey ball and don't want to loose my data.

Just do a backup before you update, then after the update you can restore to the backup. =)

Why waste your time? Despite the myth's, hype and over excited forum fools. Apple didn't make 2 different 5A347's for the iPhone. The updates could well have been packaged slightly differently, but once installed, you have the exact same thing. Hence why a phone updated yesterday to V2.0 5A347 displays the same V2.0 5A347 on a phone updated today. If there was different builds with the same build number, then it would defeat the entire point of having a standardised incremental build number system in the first place.

If your phone is working well as it is, then you are best of leaving it exactly as it is for now, given the current Apple server shambles that a multitude of folks are suffering with today. So if you must reload it, wait a couple of days at least. Personally i'll wait for the next update of significance. I installed V2.0 yesterday and it's all working just great. Why risk spoiling it.. :)
