Upgarde cost from 2G iphone to iphone 3GS?

I purchased my 2G iphone in mid july of '07. Will my upgrade be 399? or will I only have to pay the 18$?

The price Apple announced today is the price for an upgrade, you will have to pay that price and sign another 2 year agreement.
