Upgrade 10.11 to 10.13

Hello
I am running ElCapitan 11.1.6 on MacBook Late 2008
The application I am interested in stopped support my version and requested to upgrade to 11.3
I tried to go Apple Store or About/ Update option but did not find any possible update
Does it mean I can’t upgrade and I am running the highest version my hardware could support?

You might want to post it not in the iOS section, but in the MacOS section instead.
Also, OS X 10.11.6 (15G31) is the latest officially supported OS for the aluminium Macbook late 2008.

Well it’s my fault i mistyped my current version.
I have 10.11.6
Sounds that I have no options
