Upgrade a Dual 1.8 Ghz Power PC G5

Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the insides of my current Dual 1.8 Ghz Power PC G5 to a Multicore Intel processor?

Any advice would be great🙂

Not without rebuilding the ENTIRE computer.

Long story short.. it can be done but it would be far easier and maybe even cheaper to just buy a faster G5. Then you can sell the current tower and get a good chunk of the money you paid for a new one back.

Here is the exact process for upgrading a G5 to an Intel CPU.
Step 1: Sell the Computer.
Step 2: Buy a Mac that has an Intel CPU.

Simple as that!
