Upgrade dual 2010

Simple question,

What processors can you upgrade to with a dual 2010? I am thinking of getting a dual 2.4 and upgrade later to a dual 6 core
 
Any Intel Xeon 5500-series or 5600-series CPU should work. If you are looking at dual 6-core, then getting at least X5650 should be the best choice (best bang for buck in terms of performance).
