I'm running Panther, 10.3.9. Is there a way to upgrade to 10.4 or higher, and also, is there a way to upgrade to Snow Leopard and how much will it cost to upgrade to Snow Leopard if i can?
    It's a PPC.

You can upgrade to Tiger or Leopard by buying the retail DVD.

    You cannot upgrade to SL.

What computer is it? Snow Leopard will not work on PPC machines.

If it’s a computer running 10.3.x it’s not going to be an Intel Mac. The first Intel Mac’s ran 10.4.6 (if memory serves).

Edit - he says he’s running a PPC. He can probably run Tiger, but I really doubt that his computer will run Leopard really well if at all.

Here are the requirements for Leopard

Looking at the OP's sig, I'm guessing this is for his iBook.

In which case, the spec seems reasonable for Leopard.

I agree. I just noticed that and it seems like it will work just fine. Snow Leopard won’t work though.
