I noticed Macromedia Studio is upgradable to Design Premium CS3. Is it possible for me to use the regular upgrade even though I have the academic version of Studio? I'm kind of planning on splitting up the package. My sister needs Photoshop, and I need the former Studio apps.

Typically, academic software is not eligible for upgrades. That's why it is priced lower than retail versions.

You can always purchase the academic version of CS3, but even then you usually cannot split the package between two computers.

Well... That's disappointing.

Thank you for the reply.
