Just trying to upgrade from Mavericks 10.9.5 to Yosemite 10.10.3 . It has been 2 hours now and the installation is only half way. It looks like the installation has stopped. What should I do now, keep waiting or do something? Please help!

The first time that I tried to upgrade, Yosemite took so long that I crossed my fingers, stopped the upgrade, and restarted. My second attempt was no faster. So I just let it go. After a couple of days, I awoke one morning to find the upgrade complete.

Advice: Just let the upgrade run. In the end, all will be well.

Thanks for the help. I just shut the computer down to stop the upgrade and was surprised to find out the installation has completed. The progressive bar was frozen at 50% completion.
