Hello,
my Series 5 (44mm Titanium) needs a new battery (76%). With AOD turned off it lasts a night with sleeptracking and the whole day. This is fine until I hike or do a workout and it annoys me. I really like the watch and am thinking about a new battery.
Does Apple still have Series 5 watches in their warehouse as a replacement?
Is there maybe a chance of getting a Series 6?
Also I have been thinking of getting a new watch finally. But I am not sure about the battery life as the watches are rated the same.
I wanted an Ultra since it came out but couldn’t justify it yet. I like the look and the features.
The Series 10 titanium looks nice too, but costs almost the same as the Ultra 2. Also it has about half the battery life.
Of course the Ultra is bigger and chunkier.. I have smaller wrists (around 165mm), but have liked and worn bigger and heavier analog watches in the past.
Not yet tried a new watch on in store which I will do soon.
Somehow I can’t decide:
Just get the battery replaced and wait longer.
Get an Ultra and keep the Series 5 for more elegant occasions.
Get a Series 10 and hope the battery life is good enough?
Any advice?
