Is anyone here on Sky's Fibre network and did you upgrade from their standard broadband?

Whats the diddly with the set up? Do you have to do anything? Is there any down time etc?

I'm guessing they just need to fiddle with the cabinet at the end of the street so downtime should be minimal?

What are your experiences with the fibre at 40Mb? Im only getting 8Mb absolute maximum on standard Sky broadband but barely hit 6Mb when actually downloading so I'm interested in upgrading but as usual the website of a big corporation tells you naff all.

Well I cant get Fibre here yet (boo!) but a friend recently got switched from BT broadband to BT fibre and it was all sorted in an hour on installation day. I cant see any reason why Sky would be any different.
