Upgrade imac 2012 CPU worth it?

Currently i have an imac (late) 2012 with the 3.2 GHz Core i5 (I5-3470), Geforce 675mx and 24GB of RAM
I play mostly games like Starcraft 2 and Heroes of the storm and stream these games on native resolution.

Would i gain much benefit from upgrading the i5 to an i7 3,4GHz (3770)? or is that a waste of money?

That is almost certainly a waste of money since intel CPU has not been the bottleneck of the system for a long time.

I don't think the improvements will warrant the money spent, i.e., not worth the price
