Upgrade iphone to 3.0

How do i upgrade my iphone to 3.0?

I was told to press shift + restore on my pc but that doesn't open up the new window.

Any ideas...

No but i will be testing some new apps for a mate of mine

Sorted - Restarted itunes then it worked 🙂
