Upgrade iWork '08 to '09?

I have a licensed copy of iWork '08 that I got from work. Is there an upgrade to bring it up to iWork '09, or do I have to purchase the full program? Are there really a lot of difference between '08 and '09?
Forgive me, but I'm new to Macs.
