Hi I recently updated my firmware to iOS4 but had to keep my baseband at 05.11.07. I wanted to know if there is a way to upgrade my baseband without re-jailbreaking.

Only way is to install iOS 4 without using Pwnage Tool or a custom restore IPSW. And you would lose your jailbreak.

rejailbreak with pwnage tool using the expert mode... and uncheck preserve baseband

no way to upgrade it that I am aware of with out reinstalling a ipsw

so i wouldnt be able to upgrade to a new baseband at all? cause my service is quite spotty. (my step dad has full service while i do not have any)

thanks brian, and this wont cause anything bad to happen to my phone right? (besides losing my jailbroken apps?)
