Hey everyone,

I currently have a late 2007 Macbook Pro 17" with the following specs:
2.4Ghz Core 2
2GB DDR2 667Mhz SDRAM
Geforce 8600M GT 256MB
180GB SATA 1.5 5400RPM
Model Number # Macbook Pro 3.1

I am looking to upgrade to a 2010 Macbook Pro 15" with the following specs:
2.66Ghz i7
4GB DDR3 1066Mhz
Geforce 330M GT 512MB
128GB SSD
Hi Res Glossy Screen

My main uses are internet, College work involving having multiple Microsoft office apps open at once and I also play some games, mainly World of Warcraft. Performance right now is ok, I can play wow with settings at medium or a little higher, but i notice as soon as I minimize it I have huge lag spikes on my desktop and the transitions. My question would be, would I see faster transitions with my upgrade and more fluid performance, for example being able to play wow on max settings while seamlessly switching to desktop to browse the internet without much lag or wait time. Also, is picking the glossy screen over my existing antiglare gonna mean that I see more vivid and vibrant visuals?

you would definitely see a difference.
if you have the money to spend on a macbook pro, and want to upgrade, now would be a good time to.
