Hi, I have version OS X 4.11 and would like to upgrade to 10.5.6 so I can download a recorder off of my space karaoke. Is my computer (bought in April 2007) capable of such a download?

not right off, you havent listed your specs,

10.5 requires at least a G4 processor @ 867Mhz, preferably more, and 1Gb of ram,

to upgrade you'll need a 10.5.1 disc to install that first then do the upgrades ;)

You can go from 10.4 to any retail Leopard version. It doesn't need to be 10.5.1 (I believe that there's actually a specific 10.5.6 DVD).
