iPhone X Upgrade Program Question

I have to get my phone replaced today, will this mess with the upgrade program at all since it'll be changing what phone (by serial number) I'm trading in?

No, I replaced mine 2 weeks ago. As long as your device is replaced or repaired by Apple, you're good.

Edit: For maybe 5 days, they both showed up in the Apple Store app. Then the old one went away.
